Glow Gear Range For Winter Safety

Hi-visibility clothing enables your staff to be seen, staying safe and protected in their job.

With bright, fluorescent colours, hi-vis workwear contains special properties and features such as reflective strips to make sure the wearer stand out, even in dull or low light conditions as well as at night.

Providing hi-vis protective clothing isn’t just part of your obligations to staff health and safety, it plays a critical role in preventing accidents and saving lives. And with winter bringing with it shorter, duller days and long dark nights, workers are exposed to darker working conditions for longer. Therefore, this is not the place or time to cut any corners. However, with so many options when it comes to buying or renting hi-vis safety wear, how do you know which product is right for you?

Let us start by asking you a question; are you looking for the very best quality when it comes to safety and protecting your workforce? If so, phs Besafe’s premium range of hi-vis gear is the right choice for you.

Our Glow Gear premium range provides maximum visibility and protection using revolutionary safety innovation to offer three levels of protection.

Each garment is fluorescent orange to stand out in low light with reflective properties. However, our enhanced reflective tape stands out from the crowd, offering the ultimate in safety

All Glow Gear garments exclusively feature this dual-technology reflective tape which gives wearers a third level of protection in low light and dark environments. The reflective tape has a super-fast charge capability with just five minutes of sunlight charging eight hours of glow. Creating additional visibility and boosting safety, the glow reacts naturally to changing levels of light and the technology lasts for the entire lifespan of the garment.

Designed to be practical and comfortable, wearers of Glow Gear also benefit from full moveability with no limitations thanks to movement panels built-in to the garments. This means wearers are not restricted by their hi-vis protective clothing, allowing them to work freely and safely. This also reduces the risk of wearers needing to remove garments to perform tasks which can compromise their safety.

And you can rest assured that when it comes to regulation, we’ve got you covered. All phs Besafe Glow Gear conforms to EN 20471 Class 1 and RIS-3279-TOM (previously GORT3279) and withstands up to 50 washes.

Every item in the Glow Gear range features this triple visibility protection but allow us to introduce you to their other benefits too:

Glow Gear Jacket:

The Glow Gear Hi-Viz jacket features large pockets for tools and documents, multi-function secure-zipped chest pockets, a zipped side vent, clock-it watch system and an ID pass pocket. As well as having a stand collar and zip chin guard, the cuffs are also part-elasticated with adjustable stud fastening for use with or without gloves. To enhance durability of the jacket, it features triple-stitched seams, reinforced bar-tack stitching for stress areas and the reflective tape has quadruple stitching. Articulated movement panels and action back pleats enhance the comfort and fit for the wearer.

Glow Gear Trousers

With three levels of visibility protection as standard, the Glow Gear Hi-Viz trousers offer full flexibility and functionality. They have an easi-fit waist system with heavy duty belt loops and articulated knees as well as waterproof knee pad pockets. The trousers include rear-bellowed pockets and two cargo pockets with utility pockets and hammer loops. Seams are triple stitched with additional reinforced bar-tack stitching for stress areas and quadruple stitching firmly securing the reflective tape.

Glow Gear Coveralls

Glow Gear coveralls are overalls with a difference. They are ergonomically designed for maximum comfortable with minimum restriction.

Storage isn’t a problem with two large multi-function chest pockets with utility pocket divisions and secure zips, two cargo pockets with utility pockets and a hammer strap, a rear zipped pocket and zipped ID pass pocket. There’s also a watch viewing panel.

To boost comfort, the coveralls incorporate articulated horizontal and vertical movement panels, action back pleats, a part-elasticated waist and elasticated cuffs. The knees are reinforced with waterproof knee pad pockets while removing the coverall is eased by a chunky, two-way zip fastening with stud fastened flap.

Glow Gear Soft Shell Jacket

This Glow Gear jacket features three-layers of soft-shell fabric and a brushed fabric on the inside for warmth. This jacket offers protection from windchill but is lightweight enough to avoid over heating in milder conditions. When it is a bit warmer, detachable zip-off sleeves allows the garment to double up as a bodywarmer.

With comfort at its core, the soft-shell jacket has articulated elbows for free arm movements allowing the wearer to concentrate on the task at hand without restriction. You’ll also find a chin guard, chunky zip and zip toggles. In addition, it benefits from part-elasticated waist and cuffs with adjustable velcro fastening for use with or without gloves. Storage wise, there is a zipped mobile phone chest pocket, two zipped hand pockets and two internal patch pockets for documents.
