Besafe launches new industrial workwear range

phs Besafe has launched a new range of industrial workwear designed specifically for those working in manufacturing, engineering and the automotive industry.

phs Besafe is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of specialist PPE workwear and laundry solutions, ensuring the safety and comfort of thousands of people across the UK.

The new industrial range includes polo shirts, jackets, chinos, shorts, cargo trousers and coveralls, with each garment designed to be hardwearing and able to take on the toughest jobs, whilst keeping the wearer comfortable.

Several garments feature the ALSIFLEX® fabric stretch technology from alsico, which provides a minimum of 25% stretch for added flexibility and emits 2/3 less CO₂ than one of the comparable conventional workwear fabrics. Available in blue or black, as well as extra products to the hi vis collection, and are available to rent or purchase.

phs Besafe also offers a commercial laundry service, which eliminates the risk of cross contamination caused by employees washing uniform at home and ensures clean workwear is always available. The team also offers a comprehensive barcode tracking system and locker services for additional peace-of-mind.

phs Besafe uses a unique, low energy industrial washing process that hygienically and safely cleans garments using eco-friendly products, helping to prolong garments’ lives whilst retaining their crucial safety properties.

To dry garments, Besafe uses its own innovative drying system known as Drysafe. Drysafe uses infrared sensors to constantly monitor the moisture levels in the garments and the core temperature of the drum and halves the time it takes to dry garments. It ensures a constant drying temperature and an automatic stop once the garment is dry; halving the time the machine needs to run, which saves energy and prolongs the life of the garment.

Rob Piazza, Sales Director at phs Besafe, said: “We wanted a range that was tough enough to serve the manufacturing and engineering sectors whilst maintaining a high level of comfort for the wearer. We only use the highest quality garment materials, offering both comfort and protection, so employees can look professional at all times and carry out their jobs effectively and safely. We are always looking to expand our product selection to provide the best services and products to our customers.”

Part of the phs Group, phs Besafe provides a nationwide service to over 3,000 customers, making 156,000 deliveries every year. It launders more than 1.2 million garments every year.
